The popular Cottonwood Art Festival will be held once again this year from May 6-7. Free to the public, the eccentric event will take place at Cottonwood Park and feature everything from visual art pieces to live music from up-and-coming local bands.

Over 1,400 artists submitted their work for a chance to be featured during this year’s Cottonwood Art Festival. Of those who entered pieces, 240 artists were chosen to participate. Throughout the duration of the festival, artists will be competing in one of 14 categories, which include Ceramics, Digital, Leather, Jewelry, Metalwork, Painting and Photography. Festivalgoers will even have the chance to purchase a variety of work from many top local artists.
