WHEN DOES CHEVROLET PLAN TO BE ALL ELECTRIC?

By 2035, Chevrolet plans to convert its fleet of cars, SUVs, and trucks to all electric power. At the same time, Chevrolet aims to improve its battery program to help make its electric fleet more efficient and powerful. Chevrolet also has some electric vehicles in production, and it plans to add even more electric cars to its inventory in the next few years. On the automaker's agenda is the Chevrolet Silverado, which is expected to debut in early 2023 at the Factory Zero show in Detroit, and a few other vehicles shortly after. As part of its efforts to develop a fully electric fleet by 2035, Chevrolet also plans to upgrade its battery technology. The automaker will use Ultium batteries to power its fleet, which are designed with longevity and durability in mind. The Ultium batteries will be part of a battery pack that helps to power Chevrolet's cars, and it will be part of a new electric platform that most of the company's electric vehicles will be using. The batteries are also expected to cost less than most batteries on the market.
